Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What size humidor is this 28mm cigar hygrometer compatible with?

A: The 28mm cigar hygrometer is designed to fit most standard humidor cases that feature a 28mm hygrometer port. It is compatible with desktop humidors, travel humidor cases, and many cigar boxes that accept a round analog hygrometer of this diameter. Always measure your humidor's hygrometer port before purchasing to ensure a proper fit.

Q: Does this cigar hygrometer need a battery to operate?

A: No, this analog cigar hygrometer does not require any batteries. It operates mechanically, so there is no need to worry about charging or replacing batteries — simply install it in your humidor and it will begin monitoring humidity levels right away.

Q: How do I calibrate or maintain this cigar humidor hygrometer?

A: Analog hygrometers can be calibrated using the salt test method: place the hygrometer in a sealed bag with a small container of salt and a few drops of water for 6–8 hours in a stable environment. At equilibrium the reading should be approximately 75% relative humidity. If it differs, note the offset and adjust your readings accordingly. Wipe the face gently with a dry cloth for regular maintenance — avoid submerging it in water.
