Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What pool skimmer models is this basket compatible with?

A: This pool skimmer basket is designed as a standard replacement strainer for most residential in-ground and above-ground pool skimmer housings. With a top diameter of approximately 177 mm, a height of 130 mm, and a bottom diameter of 120 mm, we recommend measuring your existing basket before purchasing to confirm compatibility.

Q: How do I clean the reusable pool skimmer basket?

A: Cleaning is quick and straightforward. Simply remove the basket from the skimmer housing, empty the collected debris, and rinse it thoroughly with a garden hose or under a tap. The perforated plastic construction allows water to flush through easily, so no scrubbing tools are needed.

Q: How often should I empty the pool skimmer basket?

A: For optimal pool filtration and to protect your pump, it's recommended to check and empty the skimmer basket at least 2–3 times per week, or more frequently during heavy leaf fall or after storms. A clean basket ensures maximum water flow and filtration efficiency.
